1. Drill a hole, 28 to 38 mm, to a depth equal to 3/4 of the stone to be cracked (but at least 400 mm deep). |

2. Fill the hole with water. Add Cracker Cartridges. Depending on the size of the object one or more Cracker Cartridges can be used. |

3. Place the adapting unit in the hole and apply the Starter Cartridge. Cover with the safety mat. |

4. Fasten the hammer assembly securely. Fasten the firing rope to the hammer shaft and the top of the hammer. |

5. Fire with a rope from a distance of 15 meters. Other workers shall be thirty meters away. |

6. The stone, boulder or concrete is broken into smaller parts and can be removed. |
